Safescape is more than a
system to be retro-fitted to trains and buses. It can
be designed into new trains or buses and can be used
on other windows - in homes, buildings or laboratories.
Bespoke Design

for example AST has been working closely with rail, bus and
window manufacturers for many years, we are currently working
on solutions that fit seamlessly with new vehicle design.

Architectural Applications
Safety and emergency escape are important issues facing many
of our industries. The need for rapid escape from buildings
is always a concern especially from enclosed areas, such as
in laboratories. Although there are many mechanical and electronic
devices already available for emergency escape, Safescape®
has the advantage over emergency doors and windows in that
it cannot become jammed or blocked and therefore is more reliable.
